We got a new puppy a week ago! He is 10 weeks old and he is a lab/retriever mix. Of course he is a puppy so he likes to chew/bite everything in sight so we have a lot of work to do training him. Other than that he is a total sweetheart. We named him Thor like the superhero. We went through many different names but no one would agree so Thor is what we ended up with. I still don't like it very much but I am sure I will get used to it. :)Anyway, if anyone has any good training advice please share! It has been a long time since I have had a dog!

He is so cute. It makes me want one. But I would have no idea how to train one either. You could always look into that Cesear Milian(?) guy. I think he is pretty good at training dogs. Or just send him to obedience school. I never trained our old dogs so I am no help. Enjoy him though!

It is a little bit of money, but we did the puppy and intermediate classes at Petsmart and it helped a ton. You have to really make sure to work with them outside of class, but in the long run I think a well behaved dog is worth it! Good Luck, he is super cute.
