New Crafty Blog

Hey everyone! I started a new blog all about crafty things that I would love to make someday (when my boys are grown and are all done with the "hang all over mommy all day" phase) :)
Go check it out! http://iwillmakethesesomeday.blogspot.com/

My little Gav Gav

It's about time Gavin learns how to put his clothes on by himself. Especially before the baby comes. So today he was trying to put his pants on and he put them on backwards, so we turned them around and he pulled them on the right way all proud of himself and said "Me did it with my little hands!"
When he does cute things like this I forget for just a moment all of the pain my little stinker puts me through most of the day. ;) (He's two and he's the second child, need I say more?)

Time to Vote......

Ok. I need help with baby names. Here are a few we have been thinking of. We really want them to be different like our other boys' names. Let me know what you think!

Kayden
Kyden (Keith likes this one a lot but I am still a little unsure about it)
Kyson
**UPDATE: Here's one more to choose from: Kayson
Ok and here is what the boys want to name him:
Trysten wants Pastrana (his favorite motorcycle rider)
Gavin wants Dewey or Four Wheels (he changes his mind everyday)

So there you go! I know they are different but that is what we are shooting for.

The first day of school!!!!

Trysten had his first day of school last Thursday. We were trying to prepare him for it for months but I knew it was going to be hard. He was fine until we got to the door of his classroom and then he started crying and didn't want to go. Then when it was time for him to go in he started bawling and was holding on to my leg for dear life. Thank goodness the teacher was there to help me out and asked if I wanted her to just take him. So she pried him from my leg. It was so hard for me but I knew it had to be done. I was so glad I had sunglasses on so all of the other parents couldn't see the tears in my eyes. (I blame the emotions on being preggo) Then Gavin starts freaking out 'cause he wants to go to school too (I wish) so I had to drag him to the car screaming while all of the other parents are staring at me wondering what the heck is wrong with my children ;) Anyway, thank goodness Trysten stopped crying right after he went into the room. When I picked him up he had a huge grin on his face coming out of his classroom and says "It was so fun!" Yay! My son actually likes school! What a relief. He has been wearing his backpack everywhere he goes ever since then and won't take the thing off. It's pretty hilarious. Then today he asked if he was going to school tomorrow and I said that he won't be going until Tuesday and he goes "Oh man, I wanted to go tomorrow!"
Oh, by the way, we found out we are having another boy! I guess Keith doesn't know how to make girls. It's all good though, we are totally excited to have another adorable boy runnin' around the house. If anyone has any good ideas for names please share! I have no clue what to name this child. Thank goodness I still have a few months to think of one.

OuR tRiP to tHe BeAcH!

We finally got to go on a vacation this summer! I was so glad to finally get out of the house. We went to Cannon Beach. It was a much needed vacation for all of us. The weather wasn't too bad either. Friday was absolutely beautiful. No wind, and perfectly sunny. We spent most of our day on the beach playing in the water. The kids loved it. They would dig in the sand then go play in the water then go back to the sand again. Of course we had to visit Tillamook so we could get our squeeky cheese and have some yummy ice cream. Friday night we went to Seaside and did the bumper cars and visited the toy store. The kids actually went on the bumper cars with David and Keith and loved it. Gavin's face was pure terror the whole time but then when he was done he had a huge grin on his face and said he wanted to do it again. Saturday wasn't as warm so we didn't stay at the beach too long. But it was nice just walking around Cannon Beach looking at the shops. We had so much fun and it definitely wasn't long enough. Next year we might have to make it a week instead. :) Here are a few pictures to enjoy.

I love this picture of Gavin

Lynn and Lani turning Gavin into a mermaid (of course, knowing them, they even gave him boobies)

Trysten loved riding on the body board

Gavin always carried that shovel with him so he could dig anytime he wanted

What a cutie

They had so much fun running away from the waves with Daddy

All of us

I just had to stick this one in here of Trysten's goofy face. (This is how most of our pictures are of him)
