Pumpkin Patch

Sorry, it has been a long time since I posted last. I realized I had all of these halloween pictures that I haven't put on here yet so bear with me. :) Here we are at the Pumpkin Patch. We had a blast. We will definitely have to go to this one again next year.

My new nephew

Lani and David had their sweet little baby Keilan a couple weeks ago at 32 weeks. Due to complications he had to come early and weighed 3 pounds. He has been in the NICU and has had good days and bad days but is doing well and has gained 12 ounces! We are so happy he is doing well but being a preemie there are always concerns so if everyone could keep him in their prayers it would be much appreciated!

Isn't he adorable?!

Rock 'til you drop...

Gavin is done with naps. Or so we thought until today. (Although he did stay up too late the past couple nights) So we were all having fun together today playing Rock Band. We all love Green Day and were so excited that they had a few songs available for the game. Gavin was playing the guitar and we realize he's starting to sway. I thought he was just getting into the music but he was actually falling asleep. So Keith ran and got the camera. The video is quite dark, I apologize, but it's pretty freakin' hilarious, he actually almost falls over at the end and pulls the guitar out of the xbox. Oh, and please ignore my horrible singing. I really don't like the idea of you all hearing my nasty voice but it's worth it, you'll see. :)

Do you think we should send this to America's Funniest Home Videos?
By the way, did you notice how well Trysten was keeping the beat? Future drummer maybe? :)

Trysten

Trysten is doing so well in preschool and just loves it. (I am so happy) He is learning so much and I am so thankful. He always brings things home for me that he makes and tells me about his friends. They have a Curious George who sits and watches them during class and the kids each get a turn to bring him home for a week. Well, he got to be the first one to bring home Curious George. He was so excited. Curious George comes with a little journal where you write what he did at your house while he was there and then you are supposed to draw a picture on the back of the page of one of the activities he did. I knew Trysten wouldn't want to draw a picture so I thought why not take pictures of the things they did together throughout the week. We had so much fun thinking of fun things to do for the pictures! I wish I would have had more than a page to fill because I could have done so many more! Anyway, I thought I would share it with everyone.

My little Gav Gav

It's about time Gavin learns how to put his clothes on by himself. Especially before the baby comes. So today he was trying to put his pants on and he put them on backwards, so we turned them around and he pulled them on the right way all proud of himself and said "Me did it with my little hands!"
When he does cute things like this I forget for just a moment all of the pain my little stinker puts me through most of the day. ;) (He's two and he's the second child, need I say more?)

Time to Vote......

Ok. I need help with baby names. Here are a few we have been thinking of. We really want them to be different like our other boys' names. Let me know what you think!

Kayden
Kyden (Keith likes this one a lot but I am still a little unsure about it)
Kyson
**UPDATE: Here's one more to choose from: Kayson
Ok and here is what the boys want to name him:
Trysten wants Pastrana (his favorite motorcycle rider)
Gavin wants Dewey or Four Wheels (he changes his mind everyday)

So there you go! I know they are different but that is what we are shooting for.

The first day of school!!!!

Trysten had his first day of school last Thursday. We were trying to prepare him for it for months but I knew it was going to be hard. He was fine until we got to the door of his classroom and then he started crying and didn't want to go. Then when it was time for him to go in he started bawling and was holding on to my leg for dear life. Thank goodness the teacher was there to help me out and asked if I wanted her to just take him. So she pried him from my leg. It was so hard for me but I knew it had to be done. I was so glad I had sunglasses on so all of the other parents couldn't see the tears in my eyes. (I blame the emotions on being preggo) Then Gavin starts freaking out 'cause he wants to go to school too (I wish) so I had to drag him to the car screaming while all of the other parents are staring at me wondering what the heck is wrong with my children ;) Anyway, thank goodness Trysten stopped crying right after he went into the room. When I picked him up he had a huge grin on his face coming out of his classroom and says "It was so fun!" Yay! My son actually likes school! What a relief. He has been wearing his backpack everywhere he goes ever since then and won't take the thing off. It's pretty hilarious. Then today he asked if he was going to school tomorrow and I said that he won't be going until Tuesday and he goes "Oh man, I wanted to go tomorrow!"
Oh, by the way, we found out we are having another boy! I guess Keith doesn't know how to make girls. It's all good though, we are totally excited to have another adorable boy runnin' around the house. If anyone has any good ideas for names please share! I have no clue what to name this child. Thank goodness I still have a few months to think of one.

OuR tRiP to tHe BeAcH!

We finally got to go on a vacation this summer! I was so glad to finally get out of the house. We went to Cannon Beach. It was a much needed vacation for all of us. The weather wasn't too bad either. Friday was absolutely beautiful. No wind, and perfectly sunny. We spent most of our day on the beach playing in the water. The kids loved it. They would dig in the sand then go play in the water then go back to the sand again. Of course we had to visit Tillamook so we could get our squeeky cheese and have some yummy ice cream. Friday night we went to Seaside and did the bumper cars and visited the toy store. The kids actually went on the bumper cars with David and Keith and loved it. Gavin's face was pure terror the whole time but then when he was done he had a huge grin on his face and said he wanted to do it again. Saturday wasn't as warm so we didn't stay at the beach too long. But it was nice just walking around Cannon Beach looking at the shops. We had so much fun and it definitely wasn't long enough. Next year we might have to make it a week instead. :) Here are a few pictures to enjoy.

I love this picture of Gavin

Lynn and Lani turning Gavin into a mermaid (of course, knowing them, they even gave him boobies)

Trysten loved riding on the body board

Gavin always carried that shovel with him so he could dig anytime he wanted

What a cutie

They had so much fun running away from the waves with Daddy

All of us

I just had to stick this one in here of Trysten's goofy face. (This is how most of our pictures are of him)

Trysten turns 5!

Holy Crud! I can't believe my little boy is 5 years old! Man time flies. We had a nice small birthday party for him and it was really fun. WAY TOO HOT, but really fun. :) We put the pool out for the kids and they stayed nice and cool at least. Us adults were sweatin' like pigs. It was over 100 degrees outside. They decorated their own race cars, ate cupcakes, and did a pinata. We had to come inside for presents cause we were all dyin' in the heat. It was short and sweet. I like these kind of parties! I am sure next year will be tons more kids with him going to school and all.
Anyway, enjoy the pics!

He had to sit on his new bike while he ate his cupcake.

Coloring their cars.

Swimmin' in the pool.

Happy 4th of July!!!!

We spent the 4th at our house and had family and friends over. We had a great time and it went way too fast. It's nice to have everybody in town at the same time.

Mammy, Pappa, Aunt Lynda, and Uhma enjoying the show.

The boys with Ruby and Natalie watching fireworks.

Gavin enjoyed the watermelon more than the fireworks.

Trysten is already talking about next 4th of July
The Family, all 4 1/2 of us. We can never get all of us looking
at the camera, no matter how many pictures we take!

A rare picture of just Keith and me.

RIP M.J.

Due to the fact that Michael Jackson is 99% plastic, he will be melted into Lego blocks so the little kids can play with him for a change.

A lot has happened over the last week or two. The picture above is my mother's day gift from the boys. They are so dang cute! Keith turned 32, old man. And we celebrated our 7th anniversary. Of course I was sick, so we had a quick night out. It's worth it, 8 weeks and counting.

Preggo News

Okay, okay, I am pregnant. I was amazed actually at how many people noticed those extra feet! Of course it was my parents who didn't quite get it so I had to call them and help them out a bit. :) So yes, my hubby's righteous seed has been planted in my wombgarden and agrowin' away in there at this very moment. So here we go again... (sigh)

So why am I not sounding more excited you ask? Well, don't get me wrong, I am totally stoked about having another baby and stuff and totally want another child to love and care for, but I am sicker than a dog right now and can hardly eat anything without feeling like I am going to puke my guts out (sorry if that is a little disgusting, just tellin' it like it is.) So yeah, I am so not in a very good mood right now because I feel like total poop. And even better: IT LASTS ALL DAY LONG! Happy birthday kids you're mommy is going to be a little psycho for the next 2 months! After I am done being sick then I will be back to normal. But for now you all just might want to stay away from the crazy lady. (unless of course you want to take the kids for me or clean my house, then by all means come on over!) Oh and if any of you decide to make homemade rolls for dinner and "accidentally" double the recipe and don't know what to do with the rest I would gladly take them. I could totally eat a few packets of yeast right now or even better a whole batch of bread dough. A little weird? yes, maybe so. At least I am not the pregnant lady who wants to eat dirt or laundry detergent.
Anyway, I should prolly go. My youngest child just let the muddy dog in the house and now I have to go clean it all up. (I keep on telling myself it will all be worth it in the end) ugh.

p.s. if anyone wants to pray that my sickness won't last very long and that I have the strength to get through this you are very welcome to do so. :)

I guess we're a little obsessed...

...with the Tarheels. I found this on Ebay and just had to get it to put on the back of our van. It had the perfect amount of feet for our family! :)

Trysten's birthday wish....

So Trysten just loves cars, if you didn't know, he actually loves mustangs and always talks about them and everytime he sees a car that he likes he thinks it's a mustang. But Keith's dream car is a Challenger and we decided to go check one out just for fun today. Oh my goodness gracious, Trysten loved it! He was going on and on about how he wants it and we couldn't get him to leave! He was touching the tires, opening the gas tank, and explaining how fire shoots out of the duel exhaust (we didn't have the heart to tell him that it really doesn't do that). I have never seen anyone so obsessed. It was pretty funny. Finally we got him back in the car and told him that we would come back and see it again. Well of course he was talking about it the rest of the day and we told him that after dinner we would go and see it again and get some pictures of him with it hoping that would make him happy. (Seriously, we didn't know what else to do to get him to stop talking about it!) We got there and he spent some more quality time with his obsession and got some pics and then of course it was hard getting him to leave again. So when we got him in the car his face lit and up and he says "Hey I have an idea! Why don't you buy it on my birthday and hide it in the garage and surprise me?!"
hmmm.... :) Funny kid. He's our future vehicle connoisseur.

Our New Puppy!

We got a new puppy a week ago! He is 10 weeks old and he is a lab/retriever mix. Of course he is a puppy so he likes to chew/bite everything in sight so we have a lot of work to do training him. Other than that he is a total sweetheart. We named him Thor like the superhero. We went through many different names but no one would agree so Thor is what we ended up with. I still don't like it very much but I am sure I will get used to it. :)
Anyway, if anyone has any good training advice please share! It has been a long time since I have had a dog!

Gavin's 2nd birthday

Gavin wanted a monster truck birthday so we went all out. :) He got a monster truck cake, monster truck plates, and a monster truck power wheels ride on. (which he can't drive yet but is as happy as ever while Trysten drives him around everywhere.) He was pretty cute. It was fun to watch him get so involved with everything. It's amazing the difference between ages 1 and 2. He knew just what to do and that this was HIS day. I can't believe he is 2 already!

I had to put this video on here. We started singing to him and he closes his eyes and folds his arms like we were going to say a prayer. It was pretty cute.
To top off the whole theme of the day the Monster trucks were in town that same night so we went to it with David and Lani. The kids liked it a lot. I will post pics of that later when I get them from Lani. (like always we forgot our camera)
