'08 Christmas pictures
Here are some of our Christmas Pictures this year. It's nearly impossible to get both boys to smile or not to make a goofy face. We got lucky and actually got some pictures that Keith didn't have to use photoshop to fix something. We all hope everybody has a great Christmas!
Gavin showing off Magnum (if this doesn't make sense watch Zoolander).
A rare time they are that close without Gavin swinging at Trysten.

More videos!
Here are some more videos of the Christmas Program now with audio thanks to my genius of a husband. :) Enjoy! Listen carefully to the "Happy Birthday Jesus" song. He's turned around looking at his friend (which he does a lot) and then all of a sudden he turns back and yells out "Lord" as loud as he possibly can. You can hear him over everyone! It's so funny.

PiCtuReS WiTh SaNtA!!!
So we usually don't get pictures with Santa at our mall because the Santa usually looks like he is on crack or something but this year he is awesome! I didn't really know how the kids would react this year. But they both really wanted to see him. Trysten sat right next to him and told him what he wanted for christmas. Gavin was a little hesitant but once he saw that Santa was handing out candy canes he was willing to sit next to him too. He didn't smile of course. The only thing he was worried about was getting that stinkin' candy cane open so that he could eat it. Funny kid. Oh well, at least he wasn't screaming or something right?

Christmas Program
Trysten had his Preschool Christmas program last night and it was so stinkin' adorable! I am so proud of him. He is such a big boy! He was a Shepard. They did the nativity story and then at the end they sang songs, which he loved. Here is a video of him when he first walked into the chapel. He was supposed to walk down pretending to be searching for the star and baby Jesus but he sees us and starts running. Sorry there is no audio. I don't know what happened with that. But it's pretty darn cute. I got teary eyed through the whole thing. I just can't believe that my little shy mommy's boy is in preschool and doing things like this! Enjoy the video. More videos of the program soon to come. (hopefully with audio :)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ours was pretty lazy but it was nice. We enjoyed watching the Macy's day parade that morning and making fun of all of the mess ups in it. It was pretty hilarious. I especially enjoyed the one where the lady almost fell off of the float. :)
Trysten's preschool had a little Thanksgiving Feast and it was so cute. They got up and sang songs and Trysten was so proud of himself! He knew all of the songs. It was adorable. Here are some pics and a couple videos for you to enjoy.

What a big boy

Here is Trysten's preschool picture. Isn't he the cutest boy ever? :) I can't believe that he is already in preschool. He still is having a hard time letting me leave him but he gets better every day. He tries to be brave and hold back the tears and asks me about 5 times when I am going to be back to pick him up while I am trying to walk out the door. It breaks my heart but he needs this, otherwise I will be doing this for kindergarten and that would not be fun at all. They had their Thanksgiving feast this week and it was so stinkin' cute. I will post those pics and a video of him singing soon.

Help Me!
Ok, I need some advice. My little Gavin, I love him to death, but he is such a horrible sleeper! I am seriously about to go crazy because I never, ever get any sleep. I don't know what is wrong with him! Some nights he is up every hour, most nights he is up at least 4 times. It is sometimes very hard to get him back to sleep because he is so upset. It's like he wants to just be up and go play or something. We have tried to just let him cry and scream but that doesn't work either. I think he just doesn't require much sleep. Anyway, I am at my wits end with this, it's been way too long since I have had a full night's sleep and I am really starting to show it now. I have no patience with my kids and you would think I am getting alzeimers because I can't even remember what I am doing or talking about half of the time. I am sorry about my complaining but if anyone has any advice or know of any good drugs (just kidding) to get my child to sleep I would be sooooo grateful! Thank you!

The Flash
The Flash lives at our house.
Yes Trysten is obsessed with The Flash from the Justice League. We got him the costume for Halloween about 2 months ago and he's worn it every day since then. The costume got so filthy and worn out I had to buy him another one so he could have a nice, clean, untorn one for halloween. It's pretty hilarious watching him act like the Flash. He would wear it outside and save all of us from the evil villians. He would sit up on the top of our swingset playhouse and wait until someone needed help. Then he would slide down the slide and run like the flash to go save them. Gavin loved this game and would actually lay on the ground with his body straight, his head up, and his hands on his belly waiting for The Flash to rescue him. It is pretty freakin' adorable to watch. Man, I love my boys.Wednesday, November 5, 2008

The kids had a blast trick or treating. We went to our ward trunk-or-treat with the Beus family which was a lot of fun. There was another Flash there and Trysten thought that was so cool and he followed him around everywhere he went. He wouldn't talk to him though. :) The building where Keith works also did a little trick or treat thing the day before Halloween. That was kinda fun because we finally got to see where Keith works. Then we went Trick or treating on Halloween with all of the neighbor kids. It was such a warm night so we really enjoyed it. Keith made up a game for the kids so that they would all stay together. The kids loved it. Trysten was going on all night about him not getting any Reeses P.B. cups. The kid loves those (which is understandable) And then when we were halfway through he finally got one and was the happiest boy ever. I thought Gavin would be done after a couple houses and just want to eat his candy but he was totally into it and wanted to go to every house. Towards the end his bucket was so heavy he could barely carry it but he just carried it with both hands and kept on movin' down the street to the next house. It was pretty adorable. Keith and I went to a party afterwards and dressed up as Batman and Batgirl. So we got a picture of all of us in our superhero costumes. Lani and David had a Murder Mystery party on Saturday night. Lani made a delicious dinner for us and we "played out our parts" as we ate. I was an Italian chick who liked to flaunt herself so I wore a nasty wig, lots of makeup, a short skirt and stuffed my bra with socks. Keith was a wannabe soccer player. Of course he decided to make himself a gay soccer player with shorts that were way too short and showed way to much. It was quite disturbing for everyone I am sure. But that's Keith for ya. He was the life of the party of course. Anyway, we had a really fun and BUSY weekend. I am kinda glad it's over to be quite honest.

Pumpkin Patch!
We went to many pumpkin patches this year. We just can't get enough! I just love fall and Halloween and I have to take in as much as I possibly can before it's all over and too cold outside to enjoy it. :) Thankfully the kids love it as much as I do. Trysten's preschool went to the pumpkin patch and of course I forgot my camera like I always do. Another mom there took a couple of pics for us so I will post those later when I get them. We went to a pumpkin patch here with Lynn and David (poor Lani was sick) and it was tons of fun. They had animals, a cow train, a hay ride, corn maze, etc. I took tons of cute pics there but of course I can't add all of them. Also we went to my parents' house the week before Halloween. We went to a patch with them and Kaila and Kate. That was a really awesome pumpkin patch too. My dad took all of the pics so you will see those later too. :) I am really good at remembering my camera eh? Anyway, enjoy the pics! Happy Fall!

Vegas!
Keith and I got to go to Las Vegas for a few days in the beginning of September. It was a much needed vacation. We have never been able to go anywhere together and it was really, really nice. It definitely wasn't long enough, though. It is so fun just walking the strip and going inside all of the amazing hotels and malls. I finally got to see Phantom of the Opera, which I've wanted to see my whole life, and it was AMAZING!! Even Keith liked it. Then the next night we got to see "Ka" by Cirque Du Soleil. That was pretty awesome too. We weren't going to go to that at first but I am really glad we decided to. Anyway, I really wish I could go there every couple months. That would be nice. :)

Oregon Coast
We went to Seaside for Fourth of July with David and Lani and we had a blast. We went to Tillamook of course and got yummy ice cream and cheese curds. We watched the fireworks on the beach. It was pretty cold and rainy most of the time but the last night we were there it totally cleared up and we got to go out and enjoy the beach and play in the water! The kids loved it. Gavin could have spent hours playing in the sand and Trysten was actually playing in the water and getting soaked. We had such a fun time and are definitely going to make it a yearly trip.

I am a total blog slacker
Ok. I am not a slacker, I am always freakin' busy and I never have time. But I still feel bad never updating this stinkin' blog so here I go. So we had a pretty fun summer together. We actually got to go do things this year! :) First we took the kids to ride on Thomas the Tank Engine in Hood River, Or. It was an incredibly hot day and we were all sweating like pigs but it was still a lot of fun. There were toys to play with and a big thomas store and a little train to ride on, etc. Trysten was in heaven. Then we finally rode on Thomas. They started going and Thomas songs came on that we all know by heart of course. You should have seen the face on Trysten. It was pure happiness and I just couldn't help but get tears in my eyes seeing my big boy be so stinkin' excited. Anyway, here are a few pics to enjoy.

Hey there
Here's a couple of neat quotes I have heard lately that I thought I would share.
"Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom."~ Marcel Proust ~
"Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves"
Have a great day!
P.S. I will add some new pictures soon I promise! :) Life has been a little crazy and hectic lately and I haven't had time to do anything!

My Hubby (I love him)
1. He’s sitting in front of the TV, what is on the screen? Well right now it would definitely be Football. But if Trysten's around he gives in and watches Justice League. (which I think he enjoys more than football)
2. You’re out to eat; what kind of dressing does he get on his salad? Ranch every time.
3. What’s one food he doesn’t like? hmm he really likes food. He won't eat cooked veggies and hates squash. That's all I can think of right now. He has learned to try many new things being married to me.
4. You go out to the bar. What does he order? Dr. Pepper
5. Where did he go to high school? Hanford High School
6. What size shoe does he wear?10
7. If he was to collect anything, what would it be?Computers hahaha Or maybe TV's or anything else that's really expensive and addicting.
8. What is his favorite type of sandwich?Roast beef or ham with cheese and mustard and melted in the microwave. (he won't eat it if it's not melted)
9. What would this person eat every day if he could? Salad, Hamburgers, or my Fried Rice.
10. What is his favorite cereal?Recently he’s been very into Fruity Pebbles. He has to have a bowl at least once a day. So I bought 3 boxes and put them in a big tupperware thingy so it should last at least a week. :)
11. What would he never wear?Man-pri’s, overalls, and any girly colors like pink or purple.
12. What is his favorite sports team? Tarheels, Spurs, Raiders
13. Who will he vote for? McCain of course
14. Who is his best friend?ME! For sure. Ok, and maybe Brian, they've been friends for a long, long time.
15. What is something you do that he wishes you wouldn’t do? He loves everything I do. :) Ok, Ok... probaby nagging. I always get on him about cleaning up his stuff. (which doesn't work very well anyway.)
16. How many states has he lived in? WA, AZ, UT
17. What is his heritage?German
18. You bake him a cake for his birthday; what kind of cake? I always get it mixed up but if I remember right he likes white cake with chocolate frosting.... or maybe its the other way around. 19. Did he play sports in high school?Football
20. What could he spend hours doing?Playing video games, Playing on his computer(s)

You Are Cinderella!

Dignified and hard working. With a gentle and soft-spoken manner you have something many people don't. Patience. Even through the moments of heartbreak you're still able to hold onto all of your hopes and dreams. Bide your time; your dream will come true.

Batman
So we got a babysitter and went to "Batman-The Dark Night" with our friends David and Lani and Kristin and Donald and it was FREAKIN' AWESOME! I really liked the movie. It was a little dark but Heath Ledger did a really good job. I didn't even realize that the movie was 3 hours long! You know it's a good movie when I come out with my nails bit off to the nubbins. :) Is that the right word for it? I don't know, it sounds good to me. Anyway, I really do recommend the movie!

Father's Day pictures
Ok. Hopefully this will work. The boys and I did some adorable pictures for Keith for Father's Day. Here is the link:

It was too long so I had to break it up. Cut and paste the top part first and then cut and paste the last part after it. Does that make sense? Hopefully. :)
Let me know if it doesn't work.
