Vegas!

Keith and I got to go to Las Vegas for a few days in the beginning of September. It was a much needed vacation. We have never been able to go anywhere together and it was really, really nice. It definitely wasn't long enough, though. It is so fun just walking the strip and going inside all of the amazing hotels and malls. I finally got to see Phantom of the Opera, which I've wanted to see my whole life, and it was AMAZING!! Even Keith liked it. Then the next night we got to see "Ka" by Cirque Du Soleil. That was pretty awesome too. We weren't going to go to that at first but I am really glad we decided to. Anyway, I really wish I could go there every couple months. That would be nice. :)

Oregon Coast

We went to Seaside for Fourth of July with David and Lani and we had a blast. We went to Tillamook of course and got yummy ice cream and cheese curds. We watched the fireworks on the beach. It was pretty cold and rainy most of the time but the last night we were there it totally cleared up and we got to go out and enjoy the beach and play in the water! The kids loved it. Gavin could have spent hours playing in the sand and Trysten was actually playing in the water and getting soaked. We had such a fun time and are definitely going to make it a yearly trip.

I am a total blog slacker

Ok. I am not a slacker, I am always freakin' busy and I never have time. But I still feel bad never updating this stinkin' blog so here I go. So we had a pretty fun summer together. We actually got to go do things this year! :) First we took the kids to ride on Thomas the Tank Engine in Hood River, Or. It was an incredibly hot day and we were all sweating like pigs but it was still a lot of fun. There were toys to play with and a big thomas store and a little train to ride on, etc. Trysten was in heaven. Then we finally rode on Thomas. They started going and Thomas songs came on that we all know by heart of course. You should have seen the face on Trysten. It was pure happiness and I just couldn't help but get tears in my eyes seeing my big boy be so stinkin' excited. Anyway, here are a few pics to enjoy.

Hey there

Here's a couple of neat quotes I have heard lately that I thought I would share.

"Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom."~ Marcel Proust ~

"Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves"

Have a great day!

P.S. I will add some new pictures soon I promise! :) Life has been a little crazy and hectic lately and I haven't had time to do anything!
