Gavin is my middle child.  (you can totally tell)  He's a handful but you can't help but laugh at the things he does and says.  He keeps me on my toes let me tell ya.  He is always surprising me.  He does things that you never even would have thought a child would ever think of doing.  Like the other day for example;  The majority of Gavin's conversations happen while daddy or Trysten are in sittin on the pot.  Gavin especially likes to chat while Trysten is on the toilet.  And since Trysten poops like his dad they are in there for quite some time.  So he must get bored because he wasted a brand new bottle of soap and smeared it all over the bathroom floor.  (it was a bath and body works soap too!!)  Yeah I wasn't too happy.  Or how every time he goes to the bathroom he forgets to aim and pees all over the floor.  Or when he makes every single mess you can every think of all throughout the house.  But then there are times when he makes me smile and forget the naughty side of him.  Like when he chats your ear off in his cute little voice, or he pretends he's a baby tiger, or he tells stories, or when he wakes me up way too early with his face in mine and says "me want warm chocolate milk," or when he just wants to cuddle up next to you and grab your ear.  I love the things he says too.  He sure has an imagination.  A couple days ago Trysten came out of the house and sneezed a ton and I said "Where did those come from?"  Then Gavin yells out "THEY CAME FROM THE POWER OF GOD!!"  Man that boy makes me smile.

A little behind....

I am WAY WAY WAAAAAAAY behind on my blog.  Just wanted let you know.  I have many pictures to add but I honestly don't know when I will have time to upload and post.  Someday soon hopefully....

Summer has been absolutely crazy around here.  We have been busy every single weekend and I am so behind on my housework it's kinda gross.  I've got a laundry pile the size of a small village in my hallway.    The kids haven't gone to bed any earlier than 9pm every night. And we are constantly going going going!  Oh well, this is how summer is supposed to be right? 

And you wanna know a little secret?  I am really wanting fall to get here.  Is that a bad thing?  I want the cool evenings and the golden leaves, pumpkins, corn stalks, apples, apple cider, apple pie, HALLOWEEN.

I guess I should stop there.  Have I mentioned before that I LOVE Halloween?  Probably more than Christmas.  Someday I will have my own ginormous pumpkin patch and haunted house. :)  I know I'm weird.  I've already got my kids obsessed too.  ;)

It's my Hubby's birthday today. He turns 33! He never likes his birthdays, he hates getting old, but we always try to make it special for him. Of course today he had to take a one day road trip for work and won't get back until late so that kinda stinks on your birthday. But we will have surprises waiting for him when he gets home. Also we are celebrating our 8 year anniversary tomorrow! (what were we thinking making our wedding day the day after his birthday?!) I have to buy so many cards and gifts at this time of the year because of Father's day too.  So with the boys cards too he gets a total of 5 cards this week, maybe 7 if they each want to give him their own card for his birthday and father's day.  Crazy!  I try to make each day special for him.  I can't believe it has been 8 years already. We have been through a lot of hard times and good times. I am soooo thankful I could go through all of it with him by my side!
Here are a few reasons why I love the guy:
he always wants me to be happy
he's a hard worker
he fixes things
he's an amazing father
he always puts others' needs before his own
he's a righteous priesthood holder
he spoils the kids
he puts up with my crap
he'll watch "Twilight" with me any day
he's got a nice butt

Memorial Day

Here are some pictures from Memorial Day. My family was here and it was really nice to have everyone together again. I finally got to meet my youngest niece Amaya and she is already 7 months old! The kids had a lot of fun together and got along great which was nice too. :)

Random Pics

Busy, busy over here. School will be out next week. And someday maybe it will get warm here and be summertime. The kids (and I) are going a little crazy not being able to get outside and get some energy out.
Keith put hardwood floors in, took out our tree in the front yard, works way too hard, and fixes all of the way too many things that break in our house way too often.
I clean, pick up, feed children, wipe bums, wipe snot, wipe tears, yell, (i'm working on that one), settle fights, wash piles and piles of clothes, do the dishes....(I could think of many many more but it is late and my brain doesn't work anymore)
kids had tee-ball (glad that's over with), had the whole fam was here for Memorial day (pics of that coming soon)

First Lost Tooth!

It's been a while since I posted last.  It's been pretty crazy here and I hardly have time to clean my house let alone post something new on our blog.  But since I am addicted to "Lost" and will be staying up until 11:30 to watch the finale this evening I thought I might as well update our blog. :)
Trysten lost his first tooth last month.  It came as a surprise.  We didn't even know it was loose until I was brushing his teeth and noticed it looked a little gray.  It was really loose, already dead, and I figured he must have fallen and hit it or something since we hadn't noticed it being loose before.  So anyway we spent the evening trying to make him brave enough to pull it out.  I was afraid he would swallow it during the night so he finally gave in and let us pull it out.

We caught the Tooth Fairy sitting on his shoulder while he was sleeping and took a picture for him. :)  He thought that was pretty cool.  I got this done at www.icaughtthetoothfairy.com.  It's normally $9.99 but if you use the code fairy-proof at checkout it's free!  I wish I would have got a better picture of him (i just used my camera phone)  but oh well.
