sling shot

So here is the video we were talking about in the last post. Keith had to edit the video to make it work. The kids were actually going really fast, and Trysten face planted into the trash can. Of course he was fine and wanted more.

Belated Christmas

It's been a crazy month with the holidays, Kyson being born, and Trysten in Preschool. Better late than never, here are some Christmas pics I promised and a fun video of Keith sling-shotting the kids into a garbage can on the sled.

Kyson Arrives!!!!

I know it's been a long time since the blog has been updated, but stay tuned for Christmas pics and Trysten's snowboarding experience (loved it!!!). At 5:26 pm Jan. 7 2010 Kyson arrived as the fifth member of our family. He was 8.37 lbs (chunk), and 21 inches. He is the typical Keith mini-me with the Lehrschall chin. We are a bit nervous with the future of our food supply with his constant eating. And let's just say he has already contributed a massive carbon footprint to the environment with the amount of CO2 gas he outputs. One thing that was pretty funny is that Trysten wanted to listen to Greenday, and once Kyson heard it he started wiggling around like he heard it before, or air drumming.
Gavin and Trysten are really excited and are ready to beat up any "bad guys" that will try and mess with Kyson. I don't know why they think this, but it's pretty funny because Gavin is very serious about protecting his brother. I just don't know who is going to protect Kyson from him. Here are some pics.

First bath. It was hard cleaning the cheek rolls.

Pumpkin Patch

Sorry, it has been a long time since I posted last. I realized I had all of these halloween pictures that I haven't put on here yet so bear with me. :) Here we are at the Pumpkin Patch. We had a blast. We will definitely have to go to this one again next year.

My new nephew

Lani and David had their sweet little baby Keilan a couple weeks ago at 32 weeks. Due to complications he had to come early and weighed 3 pounds. He has been in the NICU and has had good days and bad days but is doing well and has gained 12 ounces! We are so happy he is doing well but being a preemie there are always concerns so if everyone could keep him in their prayers it would be much appreciated!

Isn't he adorable?!

Rock 'til you drop...

Gavin is done with naps. Or so we thought until today. (Although he did stay up too late the past couple nights) So we were all having fun together today playing Rock Band. We all love Green Day and were so excited that they had a few songs available for the game. Gavin was playing the guitar and we realize he's starting to sway. I thought he was just getting into the music but he was actually falling asleep. So Keith ran and got the camera. The video is quite dark, I apologize, but it's pretty freakin' hilarious, he actually almost falls over at the end and pulls the guitar out of the xbox. Oh, and please ignore my horrible singing. I really don't like the idea of you all hearing my nasty voice but it's worth it, you'll see. :)

Do you think we should send this to America's Funniest Home Videos?
By the way, did you notice how well Trysten was keeping the beat? Future drummer maybe? :)

Trysten

Trysten is doing so well in preschool and just loves it. (I am so happy) He is learning so much and I am so thankful. He always brings things home for me that he makes and tells me about his friends. They have a Curious George who sits and watches them during class and the kids each get a turn to bring him home for a week. Well, he got to be the first one to bring home Curious George. He was so excited. Curious George comes with a little journal where you write what he did at your house while he was there and then you are supposed to draw a picture on the back of the page of one of the activities he did. I knew Trysten wouldn't want to draw a picture so I thought why not take pictures of the things they did together throughout the week. We had so much fun thinking of fun things to do for the pictures! I wish I would have had more than a page to fill because I could have done so many more! Anyway, I thought I would share it with everyone.
