Sledding Fun

We really enjoyed sledding last month when we actually had snow. It was so much fun! There is a perfect hill behind the church to sled down. Trysten loved it. Gavin didn't like it very much after he and I went flying off the bump on the bottom. :)

The Funny things kids say...

Ok, I just have to share a couple of funny things Trysten said the other day within hours of each other actually. He is so stinkin' funny!
So we went to the store and as we were walking out it was really windy and the kids hate it when it's like that. So I hurry and get them into the car and then start putting the groceries in the back when Trysten yells "Mom are you ok?" I said I am fine and then he says "ok, I just don't want you to blow away!"
Then later after lunch they were eating cookies next to each other and Gavin starts poking Trysten in the arm. Trysten thought he was wiping his messy hands on him and yells "I'M NOT A NAPKIN, I'M A KID!!!!
Here's that last one which happened that same evening. All of the snow had melted and I was saying that I was sad and he said, "I'm sad too. That makes my heart go away." ???? :)
Man, that kid makes me laugh. Where does he learn this stuff?

'08 Christmas pictures

Here are some of our Christmas Pictures this year. It's nearly impossible to get both boys to smile or not to make a goofy face. We got lucky and actually got some pictures that Keith didn't have to use photoshop to fix something. We all hope everybody has a great Christmas!

Here are some more videos of the Christmas Program now with audio thanks to my genius of a husband. :) Enjoy! Listen carefully to the "Happy Birthday Jesus" song. He's turned around looking at his friend (which he does a lot) and then all of a sudden he turns back and yells out "Lord" as loud as he possibly can. You can hear him over everyone! It's so funny.

PiCtuReS WiTh SaNtA!!!

So we usually don't get pictures with Santa at our mall because the Santa usually looks like he is on crack or something but this year he is awesome! I didn't really know how the kids would react this year. But they both really wanted to see him. Trysten sat right next to him and told him what he wanted for christmas. Gavin was a little hesitant but once he saw that Santa was handing out candy canes he was willing to sit next to him too. He didn't smile of course. The only thing he was worried about was getting that stinkin' candy cane open so that he could eat it. Funny kid. Oh well, at least he wasn't screaming or something right?

Christmas Program

Trysten had his Preschool Christmas program last night and it was so stinkin' adorable! I am so proud of him. He is such a big boy! He was a Shepard. They did the nativity story and then at the end they sang songs, which he loved. Here is a video of him when he first walked into the chapel. He was supposed to walk down pretending to be searching for the star and baby Jesus but he sees us and starts running. Sorry there is no audio. I don't know what happened with that. But it's pretty darn cute. I got teary eyed through the whole thing. I just can't believe that my little shy mommy's boy is in preschool and doing things like this! Enjoy the video. hEllO miSTeR tUrKeY

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ours was pretty lazy but it was nice. We enjoyed watching the Macy's day parade that morning and making fun of all of the mess ups in it. It was pretty hilarious. I especially enjoyed the one where the lady almost fell off of the float. :)
Trysten's preschool had a little Thanksgiving Feast and it was so cute. They got up and sang songs and Trysten was so proud of himself! He knew all of the songs. It was adorable. Here are some pics and a couple videos for you to enjoy.
